It is with great sadness that JCA acknowledges the passing of Councillor Tony
Randle.

Tony for many years took an active role in supporting and promoting the
Johnsonville Community. He served multiple terms as president of the
Johnsonville Community Association Inc, including when it was the Johnsonville
Progressive Association.

Tony continued to serve Johnsonville, as well as the wider area within Ward
area, after being elected to the Wellington City Council (WCC) Takapū / Northern
ward in 2022. He was re-elected as a WCC ward councillor in 2025 and also
served as a trustee on the Johnsonville Charitable Trust.
We will miss Tony’s regular attendance at JCA meetings.
Knowing and working with Tony was truly a pleasure.
